Working of 4 stroke c.i engine

4 stroke ci engine it also works like engine s.i, the difference is that c.i engine fuel burning is done by the compressor and in this, the mixture of diesel and air goes into the cylinder

It consists of four strokes which are known by different names.

[1] suction stroke
[2] compression stroke
[3] Power stroke
[4] exhaust stroke

Do you know what is a stroke, if you do not know then please look at the article below?

stroke -

When the piston first reaches from tdc [top dead center] to BDC [bottom dead center] then the distance traveled by it is called one stroke, then from BDC to TDC, and the forward piston is called the second stroke

[1] Suction stroke-

When the suction stroke starts, the piston moves from T.D.C to B.D. c's and
Then the suction valve opens so that the air from the suction valve enters the cylinder.
    enters

which continues till the piston reaches b.d.c.
The suction valve is then closed by the cam and follower

point of attention

In this suction stroke, there is only one valve that opens while the exhaust valve is closed.

2 compression strokes -

In this stroke both the valves are closed when the piston moves from b.d.c to t.d.c and up, then the compression of air starts.

When the fuel comes from the fuel injector some distance before the piston reaches T.D.c. which [tempture from the compressor of the fuel inside the cylinder] starts burning because of the high, which starts getting heat energy.

3 power strokes-

Even in the power stroke, both the suction valve and the exhaust valve remain closed, when heat energy starts to build up, the heat energy moves the piston from TDC to b.d.c.
and starts pushing

So by which the piston moves from T.D.C to B.D.C.
Due to which the heat energy is converted into mechanical energy due to the movement of the piston.

4 exhaust stroke -

In this stroke, the suction valve is closed while the exhaust valve is opened by cam and follower to let out the burnt fuel.
When the piston moves from B.D.C to T.D.C, the piston exerts pressure on the burnt fuel, which is then expelled through the exhaust valve.

a few things to note

[1] Only the air enters the cylinder through the suction valve.
[2] In this, the burnt fuel is taken out through the exhaust valve.
[3] Combustion is done through fuel injectors, in the same diesel.
is present
[4] Oil in s.i engine and c.i engine goes as spray
[5] The pressure ratio in this ranges from 14 bar to 22 bar.
[6] This engine makes a sound
[7] And the energy is stored by the flywheel to run the rest of the stroke.
[8] c.i engines are heavier and have stronger wheels than s.i engines
[9] The piston of the c.i engine is made of heavy material
[10] c.i engine has a stronger cylinder head
